Hello guys, i wont lie im a complete noob with computers and understanding this stuff.

Ive been playing CSGO alot and i know i should be getting consistent frame rate whilst playing. however, i keep experiencing drops during games, and it happens alot. I have put my metrics overlay on to see all the utilization for my GPU and CPU .

Firstly, My system is:
CPU - AMD FX8350 Eight core processor - not overclocked!
GPU - Radeon RX 470 4gb gaming edition - not overclocked!
Hyper X Fury 8gb 1600MHz RAM
Windows 10

Ive seen alot of post about windows 10 optimization for Gaming and ive done everything but it doesnt help!

Here are the figures i pull during a game (bare in mind they change all the time during game with the fps drops happening):
FPS: 24
GPU UTIL: 0%
GPU SCLK: 1239MHz
GPU POWER: 36W
GPU TEMP: 60 C
GPU FAN: 2398 RPM
GPU VRAM UTIL: 475 MB
GPU MCLK: 1650MHz
CPU UTIL: 36%
RAM UTIL: 4.4GB

FPS: 103
GPU UTIL: 84%
GPU SCLK: 1242MHz
GPU POWER: 50W
GPU TEMP: 63 C
GPU FAN: 2402 RPM
GPU VRAM UTIL: 475 MB
GPU MCLK: 1650MHz
CPU UTIL: 23%
RAM UTIL: 4.4GB

FPS: 26
GPU UTIL: 96%
GPU SCLK: 1242MHz
GPU POWER: 37 W
GPU TEMP: 61 C
GPU FAN: 2408 RPM
GPU VRAM UTIL: 492 MB
GPU MCLK: 1650MHz
CPU UTIL: 33%
RAM UTIL: 4.4GB

FPS: 105
GPU UTIL: 74%
GPU SCLK: 1242 MHz
GPU POWER: 50 W
GPU TEMP: 63 C
GPU FAN: 2402
GPU VRAM UTIL: 475 MB
GPU MCLK: 1650 MHz
CPU UTIL: 24%
RAM UTIL: 4.4GB

FPS: 47
GPU UTIL: 99%
GPU SCLK: 1242MHz
GPU POWER: 38 W
GPU TEMP: 59 C
GPU FAN: 2405 RPM
GPU VRAM UTIL: 471 MB
GPU MCLK: 1650 MHz
CPU UTIL: 36%
RAM UTIL: 4.7

Im really clueless :(

Are you on a gaming laptop or desktop? First and foremost, I’d suggest you check your power management settings in windows and set them to ‘High Performance’.
