So I have a Lenovo y540 with a gtx 1660ti, whenever I play a game I have pretty high fps and then suddenly it stutters and get really low fps for a second and this happens like every ten seconds. I have tried throttlestop and have even undervolted the CPU, but now I think the GPU is probably the problem. whenever I get the fps drop the gpu also spikes to 100% usage, temps are good, no limit messages in throttlestop for anything. Does anyone have any fixes for this problem? because it is kindoff unplayable at the moment. see the previous chat for some history on the case: https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...-before-it-was-140-fps.3791963/#post-22905037, the laptop was completely cleaned from the inside including a thermal repaste and windows had had a clean install. throttlestop settings you can find here.

Hey there.

I was part of that previous thread, so have a little background. Is this your monitor? : https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29UM67-P-ultrawide-led-monitor

If so, I'd suggest using Freesync/G-sync. If you aren't hitting high FPS, and you're not a pro gamer, then using G-sync will stop the stuttering feeling, as the frames will be synced with your monitor. Works very well.
this is my monitor yes, unfortunately it only supports freesync and as my gpu is from NVidia that wont help. :(
