Fps drops from nowhere. CPU temps?

Hello guys ! i dont know if this has been a problem that has already solved but i need help !

I was playing this summer on my pc bf1 with pretty high fps without any fps drops... and after a while like 1 month i started having huge fps drops and when i try to low my graphics its not helping that much.

Sometime after those days i was playing again really fine without problem and now i have again some crazy drops, and not only at bf1 also at warframe and warframe is a really good optimized game and i cant accept that happen !


I think the problem is at my CPU temps but im not sure i dont know about CPU usage, i've seen the temps going like 70c and sometimes above that . . . and i just want to make sure that the problem is on that cooler, i'm about to buy a watercooler

Asus z170-A
i5 6600k (cooler alpine 11gt Rev.2)
GTX 1060 GIGABYTE
EVGA 650W GQ GOLD
8GB RAM

Run a stress test like prime95 and check temps under load. I wouldn't be surprised if it's overheating as that cooler is not good at all, infact it's worse than the stock coolers Intel ships with it's non k cpus.
