Hey! i got a new computer like six months ago now, (i built it together and fixed it) and after these six months it has started to get fps drops if i play games for a long time... Its like when i use it at the start of a day mostly no lagg at all but then all of a sudden after 2 - 4 LoL games it starts dropping from my 144 fps to much lower and then up again, usually it stays exactly at 144 fps all the time but now it just drops... Help me please, my specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Professional
MOBA: MSI Night Elf B150M
RAM: HyperX 2x8 Gb
Processor: Intel i5 6600k 3,5 ghz
Graphicard:Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8GB NITRO+ OC
Main disk: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500 Gb.
Power: Corsair RM750x 750W PSU

I just downloaded core temp and just got out of a game my highest core was at 49 * C

On which? CPU or GPU? Is Core Temp able to read the GPU temperature? If not, try one of the programs I suggested. Afterburner has the added ability to manually turn up your GPU fans to help lower the temperature of the card. I had to do that last night as I watched my GPU temp climb to almost 80 degrees while the fans sat spinning at about 50%; took manual control, brought the fans up to 70%, and watched the temp drop right back down to a reasonable 70.

Okej no i don't need another temp program i have trixx for my sapphire card have not clocked it but i have made an fan curve so when the degrees goes to high it will go maximum fan strength.
So this was my problem when i checked really closely and did what i always do when my computer drops in fps.
My fps drops when i tab out and use the internet, like i don't know if its just cause im using the internet but i do not have the most stable connection i have mobile internet, but my speed is around 1.8 mbit/s and 2.4 mbit/s.
Strangely enough my ping ingame does not go up but my fps drops -.-
And also i tried to stress test it some now, and ended up opening like loads of internet using programs on my computer, skype, discord, teamspeak, alot of tabs in mozilla steam, battlenet, spotify raptr ye and it crashed xD. No blue screen just black screen then dead restarted...

Oh right forgot my highest temp on one of the cores was 65 * C

Your ingame FPS probably drops while you're tabbed out because the game knows it's not the main focus and so stops working your hardware so hard to allow other programs to not completely bog down. Does your FPS come back up when you go back into the game?

It does but it is very jumpy and after alittle time it goes back to being a 144 fps, but still jumps alittle now and then even if i don't tab out. So you don't think it is strange my computer shutdown? (x My highest temp was 65 mostly it was on 55 on all other and graphic card barley 50. So idk why it shutdown (x

Soz my english spelling but i don't really have any energy to focus on grammar haha (x
Uhm but like when i had my mega graphic cards (before amd decided to not make a mega card the last year...)
I never lagged after i tab out and in and also not this long, though i never had a 144 hz screen back then and also not wquhd resolution 2540x1440 or amd free sync but still xD.

i also got the CM Storm Scout II Advanced Gaming Black as chassi

You said that you've upgraded to a 2560x1440 144Hz FreeSync monitor. All that extra fluff (lol) could be what's causing the FPS drops. I checked your build on PCPartPicker just to be sure your PSU was up to the task and it appears to be more than capable, so I can't really think of anything else that could be the issue. Try running at 60Hz with FreeSync off and see if it's any better.

Hmm i guess i could try, but i have not had a problem up until now (x.Ive been playing on maxed out setting Overwatch which is far more demanding than LoL. Only problem i had then was that i thought the fps was to low it was around hmm 160 at highest xD.

But do u think my graphic card has to little power to run the screen? I compared and did some research on it before i got it. It should be alittle less efficient than a gtx 980. according to all the sources i checked :).
Still in my taste it is a weak card (x

The RX 480 isn't that old. I'm running a 980Ti, and I can run all my games at max or almost max settings. Try turning all that stuff off and see if it helps.

Edit:

Which random black hole did I pull 960 out of?...Fix'd.

I wrote 980 (x but ye, i guess i should try Dvi output instead of the displayport

I'm...not actually sure where I got 960 from, since your build has a Radeon. Your 480 is close to my 980Ti, and should be more than capable of running all those features; still, disable them just as a test. If that doesn't fix the issue, you can always re-enable them.

Unfortunately, we're reaching the end of what I know...

Okay well thanks i will try it, i did not try Dvi yet but i lowered to 1920x1080 and it runs more smoothly i guess it is up to see how it does in a real game ive been trying most of the tests in custom games :)
