hey guys, I've been getting some really annoying fps drops in battlefield 1. I've tried advice such as messing with nvidia control settings. setting maximum pre rendered frames to 1, setting to highest power available, and maximum framerate available. I've even tried v sync. I don't have any problems with any other games. I don't know what else to try. Im playing at ultra pre set 1080p. any advice would be appreciated.

system specs are. ryzen 5 1600 at 3.7mhz, evga gtx 1070 sc at 2050mhz 500+ memoryclock offset ,16 gb of corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 at 2933mhz.

Are you running BF1 on an HDD or an SSD? If it's small spikes, you're probably experiencing hitching. Hitching pretty much solely occurs on HDDs, and happens when the rest of the system is faster than your HDD. The rest of your system is pulling so much that it can't keep up, and it can cause spikes in framerate.
