Hello, first i'd like to introduce my problem :) i think its very well known in gamers community, however i dont understand why is this happening

so im playing only 2 games - Dota 2 and League of Legends. Both of these im playing on the lowest details, lowest everything, but it doesnt rly matter, cuz im getting FPS drops with different settings. So im playing on like 25 fps (dont laugh - it doesnt run smoothly tho) but like every 3 minutes it drops to 7-11 FPS. After that, the FPS goes to 40-55 and runs soooo smoothly (in League). This is happening all over again.

Im playing on laptop, its a bit older one, btu it should be ok, atleast on the lowest settings.

MSI CX 720...it has i3-370m cpu, Nvidia Geforce 310m gpu, 4gb ram and w7 - fresh instalation. I know its rly sh*t, but why i have sometimes 9, sometimes 25 and sometimes 50 fps...
I would like to fix this, cuz its getting rly annoying. Pls help :) :??: Thanks for every answer. I will try everything :)

Hi,

The 310m can barely play games.
I guess you have slowdowns when you are in battle or when a lot of stuff is happening.
Also, when gaming on a laptop, always play plugged in and disable all power saving option.

Also, download msi afterburner and hwmonitor, you laptop might be overheating

well i think when it was new i was playing pretty much Ok even dont i donr remember well, and i was not using laptop for like a year, cuz i bought new machine, desktop, but now is lying at home cuz i moved to UK ,but i think atleast LoL was OK, what ive done now is that i opened it and cleaned the space where fan is, i was pretty much surprised of what i saw :) lets see how its gonna help, going to download that afterburner now and ill update this after

ok well, looks like its better after i opened notebook and cleaned it, im not sure about FPS or performance of game, cuz of focusing on game :) but temperatures are like 10°C better...dont know if it is alot or not.

Ok, so after cleaning the fan inside of the notebook and the "ribs" ... max temp. of gpu is 68°C and cpu 79°C. not bad hm?
