FPS DROPS in FAR CRY 4 with GTX 970

Ehy Guys so i have a Asus GTX 970 Strix and i play Far Cry 4 on very high with V-Sync on and a 60hz monitor but i was just wondering why i keep getting <FPS drops in Game the GTX 970 should be able to not get any FPS drops with V-Sync and i aslo have tripple bufferin gona and small anti-alising pleas help ! Thanks

Its a 153570k its not big FPS drops but it happends and its really annoying

What are your load CPU/GPU temps? You can monitor temps with a program like HWMonitor.

Also benchmarks state that at ultra settings at 1080p in Farcry 4, you should only see about 71fps. So it is 100% possible that the 11fps buffer between 60 and 71 isn't enough to mask all the drops that happen when alot of things happen on screen. Perfectly normal.

Ah nice i got about 65-80fps at ultra that time but if im gonna play without V-sync then do you have a solution for screen tearing and (un-smoothness) ?

Also, when you in the jungle expect framerate drops. This is ubisoft were talking about.

Always play with Vsync. Screen tearing is so annoying.

The answer here is just to turn down like 1 or 2 settings to lock the game at 60fps.

It might be a CPU bottleneck. Do the Framedrops appear in villages with many NPCs? If this is the case, the CPU bottleneck is very likely. You can also try to lower the settings to low and check back the framerate, CPU bottleneck --> framerate does not increase much. Its Ubisoft.
