in party ereas game become laagy and fps drops to 30-40

if i go town in games fps drops to 30-40 too....

i tryd to lower the settings to medium somtims it helps somthims its stay the same

my rig is:
i5-4590
16g ram crossair 1600mhz
g1 970gtx
msi gaming 3 z97 motherboard
samsung pro 850ssd
seasonic gold 650 PSU

my rig shueld be a beast ... i dont realy know how to check wich part making this probelm and why -_-

2 possibilities,
1. Cpu bottleneck, i know it sounds silly, but some mmo are known to be cpu intensive. I had much better frame rate after i changed my i5 to i7 4790k in FF14
2. Game engine bottleneck, when it is showing many characters on screen and the game cant keep up

Easy way to check it is to monitor your system load.
When the fps drop hits, does your gpu load gets lower and cpu load higher? Then it is cpu bottlenecked. If both cpu and gpu load get lower the its game bottlenecked.
Afaik internet connection has nothing to do with fps, there is clear difference between fps lag and connection lag.

(tested on blade & sould max settings)
all my 4 cores run about 50-60% load 58c temp
my gpu runing on 25-35% usege temp are 65c stable

wene the fps droping from 100 to 30-40 everything stays almost the same..

i tested in 3dmark and fur mark - cpu and gpu can reach 100% thugther with not problem

maby i will just upgrade my cpu to i7 4790k

Gpu load at 25-35% only? Make sure uncheck limit frame rate when client is inactive, if there is any.
Gpu load way too low, and cpu too high, better cpu might help. Make sure you check does your game support HT? If not the the i7 wont help much. Though you can oc 4790k easily.
