Hello, i am asking about any solutions as to why this is happening to my pc. Recently, i did a full restore by installing windows 7 again fresh (something i do every couple months or so). I did all as i do normally, but when i play games, mostly the ArmA series, it plays on a perfect 60/70 fps, then after about 10 minutes of gameplay, it goes to about 19fps for a few seconds, then goes back up to 60fps for a few seconds. It keeps repeating this unless i Alt + tab out of the game and minimize a program (Teamspeak for example) then is fine again. But it does the same process again after the same amount of time before. I would greatly appreciate help. Thanks.

Specs:
AMD Radeon 7750 1Gb DDR5
AMD Phenom II X4 3.4GHz Black Edition.
Two Monitors (One VGA, One DVI-D)

Any more specs needed just ask. 🙂

Your temps seem strange BTW.. It's supposed to go hotter than 29C when playing games on very high settings. Again, What are the games are you trying to play?
And if the issue only started...
Does that happen when you're not moving in the game? Performance is really dependent on where you are in the game and the amount of graphics units the GC has to process at that specific moment.
I'd say watch your CPU/GPU load and temps during the game and post the results here.
And BTW, What resolution are you using? What games? What settings? Did this issue started only after reinstalling Windows?

I monitor my temp as my case comes with one built in 😛 and in game its about 27- 29 C and non game about 22-23 C

Resolution is 1440x900 and i play always on high/ very high. I could do this no problem before the reinstall but now i dont know whats up.

And if the issue only started after re-installing Windows I'd suggest going to AMD website and downloading the latest drivers if you haven't done this yet.. If you're running the latest drivers and problem still exists I suggest you to install the same exact driver you used to use with your previous Windows installation.

Yeah, sorry about temps, ill try again but with that CPU ID one. I may have been talking about my idle temps XD I'll post them up in a minute.

*Update* These are my CPU ones XD Forgot the case monitored that

no, everything seems to be ok. In the processes tab, the System idle processes are at average 70-80 % , and ik that means basically thats the amount of CPU available to use, so other than that , no.

I have downloaded a new AMD driver as i think i was outdated, so ill try that and hopefully it is ok. Thanks for the help 😀 u earned best answer
