Hey guys i have a problem with my experience when playing games like Battlefield 1 or Ark Survival Evloved ect. So i go into a game and everything is fine, running smooth (60fps) until out of nowhere i drop to around 30 which seems unplayable its so laggy. And all of a sudden it will go back up again. 30 seconds later it does the same thing. I am really fustrated with this any1 have any suggestions? I have used msi after burner to look at the usages of the gpu and cpu and when the lag spike occurs the GPU usage goes down to like 20% and the CPU goes up to around 80%. The cpu and gpu wernt overheating. I had an idea to take off the side pannel and have a fan blowing air into my pc (not on thr gpu, mainly cpu cooler and mobo), it definately helped with the lag spikes so maybe i need to redo the thermal paste on the cpu? im not sure. If you think i missed anything feel free to ask!
