Hello,

Recently i have troubles with fps drops in various games(Witcher 3, far cry 3, fallout, csgo,...) so i went online and started searching what the problem could be. (since i'm here i haven't found a solution).
It used to run every game listed above without any problems until now

So what did I try already,
- I unpakred 4 of my 8 cores (have no idea why there were 4 parked)
- I bought a new PCU because i had a coil whine and only 420 W where i needed 500
- I did a clean reinstal of Windows 10 so i have nothing else on my pc except some games now.

I also stressed my pc to se if my cpu wasn't overheating so it went up to 70 °c

Cpu: AMD fx8320
GPU: GTX 760
(i dont really know the rest i'll have to look it up at home)

Thank you in advance

I'm having the same issue as you. Randomly one day I started getting low FPS on League of Legends, CS:GO, and the Witcher 3, where I did not before.
I just did a fresh reinstall of Windows 7, and once I got my drivers, everything seemed to be back to normal. BUT, I then downloaded all of the "Important Windows Updates" and I'm back to the same issue. Could you run your games fine before updating? I'm wondering if the issue is Windows.

I used to have windows 7 installed, and now i have upgraded it to windows 10 and i still have the same problems, thats why i think its an hardware problem and not a problem with windows :s

I'm guessing you've tried solutions such as changing your power settings (in Nvidia's control panel) and whatnot? That seemed to work for some people, but seeing as though you've said you searched and couldn't find a solution, it looks like we're in the same boat here. Which I guess is a good thing 😛 Two people tackling the same issue.
