So i play gmod, a lot, and i mean i got 4300 hours. I like to build custom things, and its never been a problem to my FPS. One day i noticed that when the high prop stuff, made out of tons of things was standing still, FPS = ok. All of a sudden, it moves and immediately 15 fps......... Please help, i've ran full system scans, reinstalled the game, put settings on lowest, yet it still does it. And gmod is a low quality game, i can run games better than it. YET it does this.

Oh. It is you. Hai.

Well in that case it's probably GMod being multi-core handicapped more than anything else. You know full well that my computer is a step above even yours, and I still get crap FPS in GMod.

How would i know if its bottlenecking, is there ways to check this?

yeah but it worries me because i have a pretty good computer, so why would it all of a sudden do this.

Because GMod is an old game and doesn't actually know how to use a multi-core CPU. It runs on 1.5 cores even with "multi-core rendering" enabled in the settings.

Which parenting tool are you using, and what settings do you have set on it?

trust me its not parenting because its even on other peoples trains, like if i see everyones trains

Now I'm even more certain that you're just using the wrong settings on the parenting tool. I'm an admin on FC&N and Elfnet RailLink, and I constantly see people with "parented" trains that still have welds galore because the parenting tool does have an option to still use welds and nocollides. Please just answer my question.

Also carn this is Hanksabutt, what im saying, is that its also other peoples trains, im not parenting them, its not my trains giving me lag only, its everyones
