Question fps drops

i5 3570 3.40ghz
8gb ddr3
nvidia gtx 1050 ti
installed latest drivers
whatever game i play fps drops from 60 to 24 for like 5 seconds goes back to 60 and it repeats
what can i do about this?

Initial impression would be thermal throttling. Do you use anything like MSI Afterburner for monitoring components during gameplay? I would start there and check temperatures.

did a stress test on the gpu
91c and i set the fan speed on 70% in msi
ugh thats alot
what should i do?
also my power limit was set to 100%
if that helps
i did read something if i lower it it should decrease temp

If the source of heat is from the GPU then that would be one way of tackling it. I would suggest trying to clear the fans and heatsink of dust, give the PC a good clean with a can of compressed air.

just bought the pc so theres nothing to clean
anything else i might do?

And CPU temps are within norms? If so it does sound a bit strange. Assumed an old PC due to age of CPU.

Aside from what's been previously mentioned what else may correspond to the fps drops in Afterburner?

well i figured it out
installed the latest driver 425.31 i think it was?
so i had bad temperatures
went back to 399.24 and everything was fine
idle temperature was 23
under load 60-65
