Question Fps drops?

Hello.I have been wondering since my fps has been dropping alot lately.Could it be anything?Im thinking of buying a cpu.My current cpu is Ryzen 3 1200.Going for a ryzen 7 2700x.My fps was better about 5 weeks ago and then I got in my pc started playing and then my fps dropped every 5-30 seconds.Could it be my cpu?

Those are my specs but im trying to know if the cpu could fix it.My fps drops to 20-59 and its annoying.
