Hi, i have laptop:

Intel core i5 8300h
8gb ram (2x 4gb) 2666mhz
Geforce GTX 1060 - 6GB
SSD Samsung EVO 240GB
WIndows 10 (clean instalation, drivers from nvidia)

and i have on fortnite 140fps, but fps droping to 30,25,22, fps is like this 140,145,160,30,150,20,180,35,40,190....

its on LOW SETTING, everything OFF in GAME.
-------------
I complete clean cpu and gpu from dust, and i add new thermal paste, but still laptop overhead, with playing, Chipest have 85c, CPU 86c, and gpu 82c

but everything is cleaned, laptop is like NEW after cleaning !.

i tired try undervolt CPU, but i cant, its disabled(grey) in intel XTU ! but i see on youtube this cpu can be undervolted, but why i cant i dont know...

ASUS FX504

BTW: What is better? 8gb ram (2x4gb) 266mhz, or 16gb ram (2x8gb) 2400mhz, for better fps/gaming ?

Thanks !! here is my benchmark PC result... https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/61883367

You should use ThrottleStop to undervolt your processor, not XTU, since that feature was blocked off. Make sure you're on the latest BIOS version for your laptop as well, prior to undervolting.

As for your laptop ram question,
16gb ram (2x8gb) 2400mhz
what are the specs to the rams? Ram frequency isn't the only thing that determines performance boosts. Ram timings/latency will play a part in that.

i Have last bios, and in ThrottleStop is disabled undervolting, same like XTU....
