[SOLVED] FPS got worse???

So I just recently built my new PC
AMD Ryzen 2700x
GeForce 1070ti
16GB 3200mhz
Samsung 970 EVO
ROG crossfire hero vii

Updated all the drivers and checked windows updates.
I have currently been playing CSGO and Far Cry Primal. I had CSGO running at 280-299 FPS constantly! NEVER WENT BELOW 280! Smooth as butter on every map! Now all the sudden I’m dropping into the high 100s and it’s high is usually around 250ish. Same problem with Far Cry Primal. I use to get 110-130 NEVER WENT BELOW 110! Game looked great. Now it gets as low as 70FPS! What’s is going on?

Maybe its possible you have other software running that is bringing your fps down. Check your task manager and see what is running.

Nothing running in the background that's using more than low/very low power usage

Did you change any drivers right before performance drop? is your drive almost full? Run virus check, use ccleaner to declutter drive,use registry cleaner to declutter registry, use high performance settings in windows.

The only update I did was a bios update. Both of my drives aren't even at 25% I have not used ccleaner or declutter. I typically use Avast Cleanup. High performance is enabled. Could it be the bios update??? I'm currently on 1103

Not sure what you mean. The speeds I had before? I have not changed any video settings if thats what you mean

Use task manager while playing games and see what your hard drive/cpu are doing during this.

I figured it out! At first I deleted Avast and installed the previous bios 1103 to 1002. Nothing changed. Then I Uninstalled my Nvidia drivers along with Geforce experience. Reinstalled the drivers WITHOUT Gerforce experience. BOOM runs smooth again without massive FPS drops. Thanks to everyone for the help!
