Question FPS gradually drops when playing Valorant ?

I can run VALORANT around 300 fps but after about an hour of play, it slowly drops to 170 fps and stays at 170 fps. Thermals are fine when I check it when it drops to 170 fps that stay around 55-65°C for CPU and GPU. If I stop playing VALORANT, frames will stay at 300.

Specs:
CPU - Ryzen 5600X
GPU - Gigabyte Gaming OC 3070 8GB
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB DDR4-3600 CL16
MOBO - MSI B450M Pro-M2 Max
PSU - EVGA Supernova 750W Gold

Is this the only game that has this behavior?

Reduced performance over time smacks of a heat issue.
Run Hwmonitor and look at the max temperature.
The current temperature would be what you get after throttling.

What are the rest of your specs?
Particularly the case and cooler.

It’s the only game that I notice the FPS drop so I’m not sure.

What are the max cpu temperatures after a gaming run?

When you game with Valorant and this behavior starts look at your task manager to check to see if any other program/s is/are utilizing any resources such as downloading, or a program running in the background. Are your gpu drivers up to date?

Perhaps it is valorant related.
Look at the valorant forums for settings and patches.
