FPS is crap after moving PC across country...

Hey, so I recently drove 11 hours with my PC fully intact from beginning to end. Everything worked fine before I left--no troubles with framerate or anything. Everything was still plugged in when I left (besides external power cables, display cables, etc) and now when I try to play any game that requires decent graphics, such as FarCry 3, Borderlands 2, or even Counter-Strike: GO (games I usually get FPS anywhere from 50 in FC3 to 120 in CS:GO) my framerate is complete crap, being around 10-20 FPS even in the MENUS. Games like FTL work fine, but more demanding games are just unplayable.

Sooo my question is, what the heck happened/what can I do to figure out what happened and how to fix it??? I am completely clueless right now, so any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The only thing that I can think of is maybe some of your components came loose during the journey and you might have to make sure everything is pushed in completely properly.
Usually that would mean the computer wouldn't boot at all, but you never know, could be. Sorry I can't be more help.

my guess would be you have damaged the hdd. run chkdsk from the cmd prompt with admin privs.

It isn't just games that are installed on the hdd--games installed on my ssd are doing the same thing. Also, I ran chkdsk, and this is what it came up with:

cool your disk is fine going by that...
time to do some cleaning...
run a reg cleaner repeatedly till no more errors appear.
then defrag the hdd.
i also notice your hdd is down to 10% free space. this is normaly when perfomance will start getting affected. so free up 5-10% by uninstalling stuff you nolonger use.
