Hello,

I think my FPS is to low in games like: League of legends / COD black ops 4
I used to have 200-250 fps with my previous setup.
I did some upgrades and now in League of Legends I have around 80-90 fps. COD is around 60-70 FPS

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700
RAM: 16 GB
GeForce GTX 1080
Monitor Frequency 75 Hz
Monitor: Iiyama G-Master G2730HSU-B1 - Gaming Monitor (Freesync)

My drivers are updated as well as my windows 10 updates.
I don't know what to do.
I tried different settings in the Nvidia control panel inclusive turning off Vsync.

Is there anything else I can try or do or am I expecting to much?
If you need more information I can always provide.

Update: I also tried reinstalling the games

Solution

My previous setup on this drive was a Windows 7 but I did a clean install of windows 10 on this.
I don't find any .old files on my desktop.

I did run the tool, you can find it here below:

Thanks in advance.

Nothing appears terribly wrong from that

The 1700 is the worst ryzen cpu for csgo as it's basically just single core and a 1700 at stock speeds with slow ram is bad news.

Download ryzen master rerun the test and see what the top speed your cpu reaches and what temps it gets to

As a matter of interest, what was your previous system, just from the point of reference.

When you installed the GPU drivers, did you do a DDU uninstall first? When you installed the GPU driver, did you do a clean install, and thus remove and previous profile you made?

Regardless of the generic 2400mhz ram, or the fact the the 1700 has a low-ish base clock, it's still plenty to drive your GPU. A small OC on the CPU might help a little, if you have a sufficient cooler. What is your mobo?

Your FPS is a little on the low side. For 1080p specially for BO4 you should be pushing much more. Maybe 20+ FPS.

Do you use Geforce experience to optimize games?

I agree with supahos, monitor your system and watch for temps/usage/voltage. I prefer to use HWMon/Info as it shows a lot of information about the system, as opposed to Ryzen Master which shows only CPU parameters (you can see fan speeds too), but not a whole lot else.

Run an instance of HWMon before you game, then alt-tab out of a game while playing and take a screenshot of HWMon to show us CPU/GPU temps, usage, voltage, with max/min values.

You can also set up MSI afterburner OSD to show you some metrics whilst gaming on the fly. This is a good way to gauge whats happening to CPU/GPU in game.

I downloaded Ryzen master, ran the test again now I got:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/13930101

Top speed keeps standing on 3.20 GHz on Ryzen master

Make sure your windows power profile is set to high performance or download the Ryzen balanced profile. Your CPU sounds like it's down clocking. This is normal for the Windows balanced setting. Set it to high performance and try the games again.

My windows power profile is already set to high performance

Try the Ryzen balanced one. Someone only recently posted, that the high performance one didn't change anything, but the Ryzen profile did. More info here: https://community.amd.com/community/gaming/blog/2017/04/06/amd-ryzen-community-update-3

Solution

I just choose the Ryzen balanced one and my FPS stays the same.
