FPS issue 1050ti

Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
MOBO = Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z68AP-D
GPU = 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Gigabyte)
931GB Seagate ST1000DM010-2EP102 ATA Device (SATA )


I have no idea why im getting low fps. I have 600 GB of memory left. My friends have a lower spec of GPU with only 1050 and 2gb but they get significant fps. For instance, i get around 40- 70 on fortnite with medium settings at 720p whilst my friends get 150 fps at like medium. I've tried updating my drivers and have done a clean installation. But why other things can affect my fps? Nothing overheating. SOS, im so unhappy since i just spent my money on a new card but i get worse results. This also happens to other games like CSGO. According to benchmarks, i am supposed to get 150++ fps but instead im getting a disappointing 100 fps. Please do help me out.

benchmarks only apply when systems are IDENTICAL. your CPU is incredibly weak for gaming and is unfortunately, your biggest problem.

Although the CPU is weak. I reckon that it shouldn't be that bad. 4 threads dual cores. Fps should at least run more than 120 constantly. what I'm suspecting is the GPU is bottlenecking
