So I basically start up a lol game when i spawn im like 250-300 fps. When I get in lane with minions and enemy's its like 120-160 or something but then it will just drop to like 40 when i fight and go all choppy! This isn't even running it with max settings either this is like medium settings no shadow! =[

right clicked all my stuff and checked for new drivers too
uninstalled reinstalled lol

system specs:
amd8 core 8320 3.5ghz
corsair vengeance 2x4
biostar 960d+ (no good?)
600 watt psu
asus gtx 760
barracuda 1tb

Have you tried adjusting the FPS options? I don't remember what it was called but it should have an option to set it to 40, 60, 80 stable and I think a few others. If you have it set to stable you could be getting small drops and the game is heavily exaggerating them in an attempt to maintain stability, try capping at 80.

Yeah I did but im still getting these drops it's irritating me 🙁 I'm not evening running the game at high settings either =[

Do you get drops in any other games? Try running it on the highest settings, a toaster can max it, an 8320/760 shouldn't even be stressed.

I got a pretty awesome toaster with neon lights on I might rig it up?😛

Yeah similar issue it runs on max with shadows etc exactly the same till a team fight or something happens then it randomly goes choppy! It doesn't sound stressed at all !

just un-installed all of adobe stuff and the game again to try fix

I found this thread discussing a sorta similar issue, its answer may be helpful to you. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/358314-33-league-legends

"Go into NVIDIA control panel>Manage 3d Settings>Power Management Mode> change to Prefer Maximum Performance, see if that helps."

But if you could combine that toaster with a digital watch for a display and a singing gift card for audio you could probably play the game pretty well. The neon lights could double as particle effects!

Yeah i checked this out earlier and tried it, however it didn't fix my issue =[

Well I'm out of ideas so I think you should try running a bench mark and compare your score to similar systems, there could be a problem with your hardware. Also are you sure all your cables are plugged in correctly?

I presume all my cables are in correctly or it wouldn't be working?

I ran msi after burner and everything seems to run fine i cant see any issues lol

Download the free version, run it on extreme, click benchmark at the top left after it loads in and the camera starts moving around. At the end it will give you a score which you could then compare to other 760 owners. If its significantly lower than you probably have a hardware issue.

Also did you over clock with afterburner?

The fps drop after has been a problem according to many league of legends players for the last months at least. Most of the players are suggesting that that happened after the "latest patch". I was happy until it happened to me also.

I have read pretty much every forum and tried every possible solution. I updated my drivers to the latest version, set the 3d options to maximum performance, double - tripple checked that my NVidia GT 555m was the GPU that was active during the game, uninstalled and re installed the drivers, and then i formatted my hard drive and gave everything a clean start. That seemed to work for a couple of days till the next patch came live and everything went straight to the beginning.

I tried creating a new config file since someone said that was a solution after every new patch, didnt work. I found another article where it said that adding a couple of extra commands to that config file would fix the issue [http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1lwok6/fix_311_fps_drops_fixed_with_1_simple_command/], didnt work.

I'm starting to believe that this is a game issue. (Oh forgot to mention every other game runs smoothly on the my pc!)

It is really frustrating 🙁

Im just glad that we are all experiencing this fps issue and not just few, because i recently purchased a gtx 760 MSI 2gb and i got the same result as most of you guys are with the fps drop, 200-300 at spawn point and when i go to lane it drops to 100-120-140ish. But what im really wondering is why my lil bro's pc which i put on my old gpu which is MSI gtx660 ti has more steady fps at around 115-140-160 than my more powerful card 760.. But like i said atleast, majority of us are experiencing this meaning to say its not our hardware and either a game issue or driver issue. I ran games like Assasins creed Ultra no issue, BF3 Ultra no issue, WoW no issue, so from here on im still speculating whats the culprit.
