Hello All, long time lurker and first time poster.
I have been reading on this site for a long time now. Well, my problem is when I play games like battfield 4, crysis 3 and other games with demanding graphics my fps average in 25-35 Ultra setting. After a year of having the system and updating OS to windows 10 is when it all started. I changed the drivers, updated the drivers and done everything possible. I still have the same result. Someone please help me!

MSI R9 290x 4GB 512 bit GDDR5
Corsair Vengeance 16gb RAM
Asus Maximus VI Hero
Samsung EVO 256 SSD
I7 4790k at 4.6 ghz
EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 750 W

60-70C when gaming. I am pretty frustrated because it worked before I updated from windows 8 to windows 10. Idle about 45-50C. I don't normally overclock because the factory default setting is normally good enough to play in ultra. Before I updated my OS, when I play BF4 ultra with normal setting my fps is normally 70-110. Now, I am dipping down to 25-35 fps. I have tried everything from removing the driver and installing a new and updated driver. I have also tried looking if the fans or temps are being affected, but everything seems to be ok. IDK what else to do from here.

Disable Core parking, and enable multi core on your games, Run the in compatability mode windows 7, that will revert the 3d API

Its not only amd, but is most utilized on amd processors as they usually have more cores.

CPU temp is normally 45-50C when gaming. I am corsair using h100i as my cpu fan. I have checked everything and nothing seems to work. I did change from catalyst to crimson and back it's still the same. IDK if it's the driver or the GPU or software. Temps are within normal range for gpu and cpu, fans are working well, and idk what core parking means...lol this is my second build.

Go to power options and change to high performance please.

Then in the game setting change the 3d api, direct x 12 to 11, 11.2 or in amd supported games like battlefield 4, in the game advanced graphic settings change the apI to MANTLE.

I would also try running the games in win 7 compat mode, let me know results
