FPS problem on a good computer

when i play older games like AC Black flag my game is stuttering and fps isn't good and i have geforce gtx 1070, i-5 7600K 3.8GHZ, 16GB RAM and i play on 1920x1080 res. Is it just the games or my computer? i've updated my drivers.

What sort of frame rates are you looking at and what sort of in-game details are you on? Can you state where you got the games from?

My friend can run AC Black flag full settings 60 fps and he has like gtx 750ti and an i-5 and 8gb ram and 1080p res....

Well, my answer wasn't brought over from the merged thread so:

Try display driver uninstaller (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html). You could be dealing with conflicting drivers, and the best way to deal with it is to remove all drivers, then install only the latest ones.
