Question fps problems with a prebuilt

Hello! I have a almost 2 year old prebuildt pc. the pc is alright but isnt enough. im having major fps drops which is very annoying and idk if its my pc that is trash or its something wrong in general.
i have i5-8400 cpu
1060 3gb gpu
8gb ram
If you need more information just ask.
im struggling on games like warzone, ghost recon wildlands and many others. please help me.

It shouldnt be my storage i have 1tb hdd and a 256gb ssd they both have lots of space. i mainly use the hdd for games and such, and the ssd i bearly touch
