I'm having drops from 144 to the 14 range while playing Fortnite. Settings are low across the board replays OFF, multi thread ON, I have G-SYNC compatible Turned on, low latency mode set to Ultra, the works really. If I run Razer Cortex its seems to help however it's still not great.

RAM- 16GB dual chanel DDR3 (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard- ASUSTeK Maximus VII Formula (socket 1150)
Graphics- 27G1G4 (1920x1080)@144Hz)
VG248 (1920x1080@144Hz)
20447MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (Gigabyte)
Storage- 238GB Samsung SSD 850 PRO 256GB (SATA (SSD))
931GB Intel Raid 1 Volume (SATA (SSD))
Processor- i7 4790k @ 4.00GHz

IDK what to do anymore, please help :)

You indicate that you have g-sync compatible turned on, but do you have it enabled in display setting-set up Gsync? If you do, try using vsync and Gsync together. Do you have preferred refresh rate set to maximum? All it will do is cap the refresh rate tp 144fps. It may smooth out fps drops. What processor are you using?

Anything weird running in task manager?
How often are the drops?
have you checked the tempurature of your periheperals?
What is the PSU?
drops are pretty frequent throughout the matches, not limited to movement either, they even drop sitting still in lobby. Temps all seem solid. PSU is Corsair 950 TXW. Task manager is business as usual, nothing crazy.

Sorry I forgot Processor-i7 4790k @ 4.00GHz
I do have It enabled in the nvidia settings but have had vsync off

Merry Christmas.. So vsync didn't help so then it is something besides video settings...….What are you running in windows power settings? Balanced, High performance? Is this a new problem or has it always been happening? I know there are a million different settings, but what kind of settings are you using in game?

The issue has been going on for a few months now but more frequent this last 2 weeks. I've switched between "Ultimate performance" and high. I have fortnite set as priority wherever I can. As far as in game settings I run everything on low aside from view distance (meduim). Also I started playing 1798X1080 to see if that would help bring my frames to stable. Everything is up to date driver wise and so on. It's just odd cause even sitting still in the lobby screen it will drop from 157 to 80.

You could try going in to bios under boot section and select restore to default settings. See if that changes anything. Is it possible for you to post a pic of all your 3d settings in the Nvidia control panel? I know Fortnite drives a lot of owners crazy and they have the same problems.
