Question FPS stuck at 50-60 in COD MW3 ?

Hi ive been having this issue with call of duty. I feel like my computer should be able to run more than 50-60FPS but it seems im stuck around that. been looking around for a month and found nothing that helped.

v-sync off

display settings 240 refresh

ingame fps caps off

MB BIOS is updated

Uninstalled gpu drivers and installed again

Uninstalled game and reinstalled

monitor settings set to 240

PCIE setting set to gen 3

NVID control panel settings all set to 240 refresh



at this point i dont understand why this game refuses to go above 50-60 fps

Please help

DDS : 3600hz

GPu : RTX 2070 super 8gb

SSD : Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe

RAM : Trident ZRGBSeries 32GBDDR4 3600MHzCL17 Dual Channel Kit (2x16GB)

PSU; 850w

Monitor: 240hz 5120 x 1440 res

Because your GPU is soo weak for you monitor resolution you ride
And if you set low your game quality in low
And third way if you have MSI Afterburner maybe you locked you FPS to 60 in MSI Afterburner check it

Correction it’s a 2070 super 8gb*
Is that still too weak?
All the game settings are set to low etc for max fps.
I will check afterburner but it shouldn’t be locked.

Well, I can say that the graphics are weak compared to Mintor because 2070 Super can't reach 240 fps, but since you revealed the game, I can say that you should get more than 60, and secondly, you have to turn on Wesnak to frame Mintor with graphics. For one thing, you should see when the graphics are very strong and you want to get more fps compared to the frame miner
And the third solution is to check the graphics control panel settings

Yea I’m just expecting anything over 50-60. Highest spikes I get is 90-100 in menus or loading screen. Just when warzone loads it spikes down to even 40fps.

Brother, try to reduce the resolution of the game, for example, set it to 1080 and then see if the fps increases or not, and if it increases, the main problem is in Monitor, the reason is that Monitor's resolution is too high, and GPU can't give it a high fps , that's why In the menu you get 100 and in the game it doesn't give more than 40. I recommend that if you want to get at least 200 fps on this mintor and only play WARZON or CAD MW , you should change your graphics and I recommend RX 6900 or 6800xt .
