I recently upgraded my motherboard and psu and I've been experiencing sudden fps stutter and drops when playing games like csgo or pubg. I did reinstall windows with the option to keep my files but still the problem occurs.

Specs:
Processor - i7 4790k
Motherboard - Asus B85M-G - Previously Asus H81M-E
PSU - Corsair CX850M - Previously 500 watt psu
GPU - Nvidia GTX 1060 6b (superclocked)
SSD- Sandisk U110 128gb
Harddrive - Toshiba DT01ACA100 (1TB)

There's no need to install simply download from here and run it and then play the game for a while. You can see maximum and minimum temps, fan speeds, GPU clock frequency, vRAM frequency, GPU utilization and other variables.

How bad are the drop? Are you using an FPS counter like the one built into GeForce esperience or from what see see and feeling the frame rate drops?
Run some utility like GPU-Z in background and play games and check GPU temps during game play. From that (superclocked) I'm assuming it's an EVGA graphic card?

Also some frame rate drops are due to imperfect optimization of the game engine and game code by the makers and not necessarily a hardware-related issue.

Is gpu-z a program that i need to install?
Correct i have an EVGA graphics card.
And yes i understand that PUBG is not perfectly optimized, but these issues did not occur with my old motherboard and a less powerful psu. Like there was no stutter or fps drops, i could play the games perfectly.

Ok will do that. How long should i play, 5 min, 10min?, and which numbers should i post for you?

Im using the steam overlay fps counter to see my fps drops. Like sometimes i can achieve high fps, but then comes a microstutter followed by a little drop, not a huge. It's really weird.

Can i use that, when i have EVGA card and a ASUS motherboard?

I did it.
Cpu went up to 100 celcius (max).
Gpu 77 celcius (max)
For my disk it was 36 and 43 (max) (my ssd and harddrive)
So i guess i did not put enough thermal paste?

You can, the brand doesn't matter. I use it with my Asus GTX 1070 Strix.
I see that your CPU hit 100 °C. That's way too much. Check the fan's RPM or aply more thermal paste.

Yes you need to address that ASAP. Maybe re-seat the cooler with good thermal paste applied. Also monitor fan speed.

Maybe you need to look into getting a better cooler. Also improve ventilation in the case. Air in from side and front and exhaust from rear and top.
