[SOLVED] FPS stutters

Alright so about like a year ago i bought a gtx 960 4gb Strix and it was working perfectly fine, I was running games like GTA 5 and Doom on highest settings and i would get solid 110+ fps at all the time
Well i tried getting back into GTA 5 and for some reason i couldn't even run it at 50 fps on lowest settings possible and lots of stuttering. (excuse my english its my second language)
Is there any way possible for me to find out what's causing me to have all the stutters in these games

also my complete pc specs are

What resolution are you playing on? 1080p?

It could be your ram maxing out. 8gbs is just about enough for most games, but newer games use upward of 8gbs system ram at that res.

Check your system with HWMon/info, and see if either your CPU or GPu are hitting high temps. It could also be that.

yeah 1080p and yeah you are right 8gb is not enough for most of the newer games but i never had any problems while playing gta 5 and doom
