Hi guys,
To start off with, here is my rig:
- Intel Core i7-6700T CPU @ 2.80 GHz, 4 cores
- 16GB Ram
- It's an AIO (all-in-one)
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4GB
Info on games:
- I used to get 60 FPS, 1080p on R6, now I get 20
- I used to get 30 FPS, 1080p on PUBG, now I get 30 FPS on 720p
- Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGqlhccgHgI is a video of Fortnite gameplay with the same GPU, but I have a better CPU and more Ram, however with the same settings as him, I get half his frames. This gave a clear indication something was wrong
- And worst of all, 20 - 30 FPS on CS:GO 1080p, low settings?
I wasn't bothered too much as I played Fortnite for quite some time with extremely low settings, but firing these games up now as well as Fortnite, I realised I need to do something about this.
Extra info:
- Upon running Fortnite, I put all my settings on the lowest possible, lowest res and 65% 3D resolution and I got 85 degrees celsius on MSI Afterburner. Don't know a lot about computers, but hopefully that's useful information.
- I have all my games on my HDD, but I had them all on there during the times I was getting good FPS as well (I have an SSD with little storage tho)
- I had this computer for around 1 year and 4 - 5 months.
Any help is extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance!
