FPS tourney game

Hey i am looking to get good at a fps game and enter tournaments and such via online or w.e...

i know that like c.s. and cod are good but they've been out and i want to start right when it comes out to get a jump start.

Does anyone know of any fps' that should be coming out within the next few months?

any help would be much appreciated!
