Question Fractal AIO cooling plate won’t fit on AMD 5700g

My fractal AIO plate won’t fit on my ryzen 5700g CPU. I’ve installed the bracket that came with the cooler. its hitting on the top edge of the CPU and not allowing it to go down. It’s marking up the edge of the cooler plate. It’s like the cpu is to high. But it’s down all the way.

Can I just loosen the two motherboard plastic brackets where the cooler connector plate connects to on the motherboard to give me some more height?
