Fractal Define R5 fan controller?

So can you use fan Y splitters for the Fractal fan controller to control more than 3 fans? Cause i have 6 noctua fans and i want to be able to control them without software.

Fractal's product specs page suggest that the fan controller can handle a maximum of 3 fans while their support page states this.

The integrated fan controller rating is 15W in total, there is only one channel.
The one channel is then shared by the three fans. The combined wattage of these fans must not exceed 15W.
We do however not recommend connecting more than three fans to the fan controller.

You could experiment but it will cause the fan controller to malfunction or worse be a fire hazard. I'd suggest sticking to 3 fans only while another solution can be to pick up a PWM Fan splitter.

Connecting 4 fans to the fan controller works but not on the lowest setting. But i will look into a PWM fan splitter
