Fractal Define R6 Top Panel ON with Corsair H100i v2?

Case: Fractal Design Define R6
CPU cooler: Corsair H100i v2
Question: If I have a Corsair H100i v2 installed on the top rack of the Fractal Design Define R6 case, am I able to put the top noise cover on or do the vents need to be exposed for airflow?

I would leave the vents open. If the cooler can't get rid of the air the temps will be much higher.
