So I'm planning out my first PC build and I am wondering if this set up would work in the Fractal R4 case.

This is my idea:

I want to use a Corsair H100i and I want to remove both of the hard drive cages and place the radiator in the front as an intake with a push/pull configuration using 4 Corsair SP120 High Performance fans cranked up to max speed, I know it would be a little loud but I am hoping that the sound dampening material in the front would do a good job at.. well, dampening the sound lol. And I also want to put a Noctua NF-A14 140mm static pressure fan on the bottom by the PSU as an intake and then 3-4 140mm Corsair AF140 Quiet fans at the back and top exhausts and also maybe another intake on the side panel. (I bought the non-windowed version of this case but I also ordered the windowed side panel so I can use it with a window but also give myself the option to put the non-windowed panel on there in the future if I decide to do SLI so I can take advantage of that extra fan)

What do you guys think of this set-up from a positive/negative/balanced pressure perspective. Because I can't figure out what this will end up being (without the extra side intake). Because, in theory, with 5 intakes and 3 exhaust fans, you would think this is a positive pressure case but the radiator is in the front and also the front of this case is quite restrictive and those 4 radiator fans in push/pull are all 120mm fans where as the rear and top 3 exhaust fans are all 140mm airflow optimized fans. So with every fan at 100% speed, I'm just wondering what is it really? +/- or = ?

I know it's kind of hard to really tell (or maybe it's not and I'm either just dumb or I am over-thinking this lol) I just want to have this case have positive pressure or at least balanced. Although I read that negative pressure is better for cooling, if that is the case then maybe I can loose the bottom 140 intake and just put magnetic fan filters on the exhausts since there will be a lot of dust coming in)

So bottom line,

1) Do you think this set-up is going to be a positive or negative pressure set-up?
2) Is my idea good for keeping everything nice and cool even though I know using the radiator as an intake will bring a little warm air in the case but that is what the bottom intake is for to push that up and out (hopefully).

Thanks

With the radiator, a push and pul (Intake and exhaust) configuration would be ideal, as the radiator is right at the front of the chassis and you would need to expel some of the heat from the radiator out of the chassis, which is where the exhaust fans at the top and rear of the case come to play.

I know that much lol. My concern is I won't be getting enough fresh cool air intake and also that this will be a negaive pressure case and suck in a lot of dust, which im okay with if that offers better cooling, my asus sabertooth z87 board has a whole bunch of covers to fill the slots you won't use and I can buy magnetic filters for the exhausts

Well the bottom fan mount you're planning to use will work very well for positive airlfow. If you are going to use it though, you'll want a hard surface and not place the system on a heavily fabricated carpeted surface, or the fan will starve.
