I'm back looking for more opinions. I'm working on doing a rebuild from mini-ITX to an ATX mid-tower, and have already dropped off an order for a new motherboard and am waiting for a GTX 980 come in. Now I need a case.
I REALLY like the looks of the 'titanium grey' Fractal R4 case + side window; the only thing stopping me is that this is going to be on top of my desk, and having the I/O up at the top of the case is going to be a bit inconvenient. Not a deal breaker if I can't find something I like more, but it's definitely a consideration.
I have $200 to work with for this case, and am looking for a reasonably-sized mid tower. I don't want a massive full tower. A lot of Antec's cases look nice, but are too minimal for my tastes... I'd at least like a side window to show off some hardware. The IN-WIN 904 looks absolutely beautiful, but $230 is getting a little tough to swallow for a glass case, and it sounds like there are a lot of bad reviews on it being a case of all form and no function.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
