Just wondering if anyone would like to organize a little friendly
meet-and-gib for sometime Sunday? No idea who could host or if we
could just meet on some empty pub server. Mebbe we could get together
for a group portrait for Melt's FAQ?

I'm big game!....Ummm...I mean I'm game too. There can only be a
maximum of whatever the server cuts off at max players though. I
especially like the idea of a group portrait but who would do the
screenshot? The picture taker would be left out of the picture
but I will vote for me to do it. I can take a picture and hide
my weapon, crosshair, hud, etc. :)

That'd be fine, but I can offer to set up a server for the pic if
there are a bunch of custom skins that people like. I only have 128
up, but it won't matter for just setting up a group pic. If anyone
wants to use a custom skin, let me know and I'll add it. Also, any
ideas for the background? Maybe the tower in CTF-Face?

That's a great idea. I also like some of the structures in the
assault maps like AS-Mazon or the train in AS-HighSpeed or the
U-Boat in AS-Frigate would definitely be a good place for a family
portrait! DM-KGalleon also sounds good hoist that scurvey dog up
to the yard arm thar matey! I've got lots of ideas for a picture
as you can see!. I'm also for playing UT as I don't have UT2004
yet and I have a little bit of trouble playing UT2003 sometimes
but one of these days maybe a fortune will hit me and I will have
a rig that can handle it. :-D <fingers crossed, tossing salt
over left shoulder or is that the right shoulder?>

PS anytime is good for me and if there is already enough people I
will sacrifice my position if need be. 🙁

I don't know........you'd better watch out around those girlfriends
boxes they can get prrreeeettttyyy hot and noisy!. I wish I had the
talent with drawing ascII pictures or I would draw a picture of what
I mean!. You can do it or your girlfriend but gopostal said he would
set up a server just for a picture though. Any thought on what would
be a good map to take the picture in? I don't use any special skins
just the trophy dude with the Rankin face just regular came with the
game (vanilla) skins.

Pictures of hot and noisy boxes of girlfriends? I think there's enough of
that on the internet as it is. I'm sure the group would thank you for the
thought though. :)

Well, for old times sake, it'd have to be DM-October. To be specific, the
meeting would have to take place on the sub itself. :)

Yeah that's what methinks too! It's in my inbox, all over the
usenet, and the http internet and I'm really starting to get
tired of those buy Viagra and Valium email. I don't know what
I did to get them but I wish I could undo it!. It takes 2 hours
sometimes just to download my email!.

I thought about that too but it's DM-November isn't it? and I was
thinking that we could all dive underwater for a scuba portrait.

The best things are always things that happen by chance. Things that are
planned are never as enjoyable. Drop in the water and see if anyone
follows. :)

It is very true that the best things happen completely by chance
and it would also be great if by that same chance I happened to
have a weapon like the Ripper and just alt fired everyone off
into the water! <:-O CTF-November has two Rippers in it near
each base!. 🙂
