Question Frame drops on decent PC.

During the past 2 or 3 weeks I have been having issues with sudden frame jumps in games. For example, Ill be playing a game and it will go from 80 fps to something like 55 and then back up to 80 etc. I have a 1080ti, 8700k, 16gb ddr4 ram. All of my temps are fine and I have the latest drivers. I have already tried running DDU but that did,t help. every now and again the problem will go away but then come right back a few hours later. Very weird. Could one of my components be faulty? My CPU is not overclocked by the way.

I'm averaging about 30 to 40 degrees idle and around 60 to 65 under load.
GPU is about the same.

weird temps are in check. Try raising the power limits for your cpu in ur bios
