Frame rate problem

I just recently got a 780ti; and I've been playing some games with some little to MAJOR frame-rate problems; and I need help with finding out the possible problems. For example; I play the "Elder Scroll" games a lot; on my 660 I use to get 60 fps constantly and on my now 780ti get 40-50 if I'm lucky; on Skyrim.

I also have frame-rate issues on oblivion as well.

Has anyone else heard of problems like this with a 780ti Graphics card?

I also am somewhat convinced my CPU is bottle necking it but; I doubt it would be doing it that much.

Motherboard: AMD 990FXA-UD3
CPU: AMD FX 6300 six core-processor.

Also: If you require further information let me know. Thank you all in advance.

Did you get the latest drivers to compare both the 660 and 780ti with the same drivers?

I'm sick and tired of nvidia downgrading older cards (780ti vs 900 series) through drivers so you might want to try an older driver if you have the latest.

I will try this out; I also recently added in my motherboard into the thread to further help come to a conclusion about this problem. Thank you.

I have a Antec 900W power supply. I will also give this a try as well.
