I've been pulling my hair out on this one for quite a while now. I've thrown parts at the PC (new Cooler, new Card, new RAM) and I'm out of ideas. About ready to bin it all and build something new, but I figured I'd ask here first.
Current Specs:
OS: Windows 7
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB DDR3
GPU: AMD RADEON R9 270X
PSU: Thermaltake Evo Blue 650W
AVP: Zemana Antivirus, Previously KIS and MBAM.
The stuttering will literally happen every second or so and it makes games unplayable. If anyone remembers the Batman Arkham Knight debacle with framerate stuttering on non-NVidia cards, it's like that except all the time.
The most recent try was with Space Hulk Deathwing. Even sitting through the Cinematics I'm getting stuttering every few seconds or so and the gaming, well that is unplayable. Baring in mind, this is all on Low settings. Game recommended High and tried that, but it wouldn't even load. Games like CoD and Battlefield, forget about it. No hope. I've checked the CPU usage via Task Manager while gaming and it's around 70%. All game overlay screens disabled, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really don't want to blow everything away or start again with a new PC.
Ninja Edit: I've been told that it may be due to lack of space in C:, but it currently has 36GB free.
