[SOLVED] Frame spikes in all games on decent PC

Hi, I'm having problems with small but frequent stuttering in almost every game I play. I'm playing on a good enough system that achieves good frame rates overall but unfortunately my experience in most of my games is being badly affected by these stutters.

Here's a video I made using AC: Origins Benchmarking tool with some extra information from MSI afterburner on screen as well.

CPU: Intel i5 9600k @ 3.7GHZ (Turbos upto 4.2GHZ)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 Pallit Gaming Pro OC
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @3200MHZ (2 x 8gb)
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500gb (OS and AC: Origins are both installed to this)
PSU: Corsair CX550M
Cooler: CoolerMaster Master Liquid 120mm
Case: Kolink Observatory

To anybody interested the issue seems (touch wood) to have been fixed by disabling XMP Profile in my bios
