Question Frames Dropping All Of The Sudden

Hi!,
I use a rog gu501gm to play gears of war 5. I am on the lowest settings and average60-80fps. However sometimes I get really bad lag spikes/frames dropping. Any idea on how to fix this? I have already updated the driver. This just started happening recently, it has been fine for awhile.

Have you tried, using high performance in your power settings, and turning on v-sync in your Nvidia control panel 3d settings?
