Fraps isn't working, is it Win 10?

I started using Fraps when I was running on Win 8 & had no problems. I upgraded to Win 10 & still didn't have any problems. But for some reason one day Fraps just decided not to work anymore. I've played with the setting for Fraps & nothing has worked. The problem is that I'll open Fraps then I'll open my windowed game. I'll minimize Fraps into my tray & hit the hotkey to record the window that's playing the game. It doesn't record anything. I know I'll usually have the overlay in the corner or Fraps will go from yellow to red when it's working. But it doesn't.

What's the problem? Can I fix it? If not, what's a good replacement for Fraps?

I'm not entirely sure but I think Fraps software is in the stone age with no update for Win 10. I bought Mirillis Action! awhile ago and I really like it. Its 30 bucks for a home license, 50 bucks for commercial (you can record and upload on youtube and monetize it without copyright issues.
