Fraps not showing in bf1

Heys guys, so when I first got bf1 fraps would show the fps. But now I cant get it to show, I have reinstalled it and tried everything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

To begin with:
What computer: manufacturer and model?
If special build: the motherboard manufacturer and model?
Graphics card: manufacturer and model?

Operating system and 32 or 64 bit?

I'm pretty sure the Fraps overlay doesn't work in DirectX 12 applications, so if you're running in DirectX 12 mode it's not going to work. Development on Fraps has been abandoned, so if you want the overlay while playing DirectX 12 games, you'll have to find an alternative. I think more recent versions of MSI Afterburner work, though the in-game overlay support for DX12 and Vulkan might be a bit spotty. I personally just use my second monitor for monitoring like that rather than an in-game overlay.

Yeah the reason I asked was for get some info about the graphics card.
Fraps is out.

A tip
In any Stem, Uplay or Origin games - make sure to turn off 'In game Overlay' and turn off V-Sync.

Yeah using a asus gtx 1060, so also using dx12. Was actually thinking thats the reason for it not showing. Msi afterburner doesnt seem to work either, like the fps overlay doesnt show in settings.

Nvidia GTX 1060 or any other graphics cad from Nvidia have issues with DirectX12
That is a fact.

Change it to DirectX 11 and you will be fine.
They will (perhaps) have a solution on their graphics driver very soon.
