Fraps recording onto an ssd

Will recording fraps videos to an ssd reduce stuttering and the frame rate hit during game?

It's not recommended to do that. I suggest recording on to an HDD. And no you cannot reduce framerate by going to an SSD from an HDD.

Why not record onto the SSD? You think it will last shorter due to more writes...because it will last years longer than its useful life and longer than the OP's HDD will.
