Fraps, World of Warcraft and 3 different drives!

Good evening!
Straight to the point. My PC carries some semi decent hardware (4770k, GTX770 etc.) and 3 different drives as the title mentions. What I want to do is record World of Warcraft footage on either Fraps, Dxtory or some other recording program and I'm confused as to where what should be. So my drives are the following:
•120GB SSD (super new, installed him yesterday!)
•1000GB Fast HDD (pretty new, big big cache decent speeds, SG Barracuda.)
•500GB Slow HDD (relatively old, a leftover from my previous computer which comes in handy.)

Currently I have my stuff installed like this:
•SSD: OS, Drivers (Around 80GBs of empty space)
•1TB Fast HDD: WoW, Fraps etc., Programs (Skype, Antivirus), Pretty much everything including Fraps output (<-- really questionable whether it's right or wrong; Probably very wrong depending on what I've read through endless googling)
•500GB Slow HDD: Downloads downloads and backups of years of vicious formatting.

My questions in order of importance:
•Where should my WoW client be for the best gaming experience while recording?
•Where should my recording program be for the best output video quality without any freezing etc.?
•Where should the recording program output footage to?
•Where should my editting program (likely Sony Vegas) be for the best render times/quality?

My priorities for this whole thing:
•Gaming Quality (Arguably. I'd put what's now 2nd 1st, but If I can't play in a decent environment, there's no reason to record . Consider the 2 of around equal importance. )
•Output Footage Quality (destined mostly for PvP montages)
•Rest (?)

What you want to use is NVidia shadowplay.

It is NVidia hardware accelerated H.264 encoding. Can use it for streaming and recording.
Basically you should be writing to a different HDD than what has your game installed.
So with the real time video encoding of the shadow play, your old HDD will probably be fine.

For the approx 10% performance hit you should be able to do 1080p 60fps video.

Nvidia shadowplay is way better if you have a gtx770. it puts less stress on cpu and provides smaller files. this could be done as nvidia has a h.264 encoding on the graphic card itsealf (for gtx 650 or newer gpu's). even if bot h wow and shadow play will run from the slowest hdd, you should not notice any fps drop, however the loading times will possibly get longer

Installing FRAPS on different drives, and a game on another drive won't decrease quality OR performance.
But in answer to your quetions:

A: Same as WoW
Q: •Where should the recording program output footage to?
A: Wherever you feel best (I recommend 1TB 'Fast HDD')
Q: •Where should my editting program (likely Sony Vegas) be for the best render times/quality?
A: '1 TB 'Fast HDD'

As you have a good card why not use Nvidia Shadowplay? It uses VERY little GPU power for optimal gaming performance.

Thanks for swift replies everyone. What is Shadowplay even, I've been away from recording and stuff for a while and Shadowplay happened! Is it better than Fraps/Dxtory/Bandicam and what not? If so, in which aspects better?

shadowplay is included with the latest nvidia drivers, if you have choose to install it during driver install it installs by default. the advantage of it over other programs is that it puts less stress on CPU giving better fps and it produces smaller files (than fraps atleast). It's only available for nvidia gtx 650 and newer. does not work with AMD gpu's
