Free C++ Profiler for linux?

Does anyone know of a free C++ profiler that works in linux?

Gprof seems to only work for C unless I'm mistaken.

gprof has a lot of overhead. If you want a profile that only minimally changes your app/system behavior, you should check out 'Zoom' ( http://rotateright.com ) - it's commercial, but there's a free eval period.
