FREE DOUBLE SPEED BROADBAND - is it true?

sky and talk talk are both offering "free" broadband. however rembering back to dial up if you had to phone lines then you could run two modems together and have double (112Kbps) speed internet connection. Anyway back to the mainpoint if i have two internet sources, one DSL nad one though sky is it possilbe to have double speed broadband for free?

This will have little if any effect on performance.
Windows will not be smart enough to load balance the routes and will select one to prefer and use most of the time.

This could provide fault-tolerance, but without specialized software and/or hardware this will not provide xtra throughput. The hardware/software is not designed for the home user but designed for large corporate networks and would not apply in your case.
