Question free encryption software

I need some advice on what to get for free encryption software for windows 10.

I want to:
encrypt 2 external hard drives
and
encrypt the internal boot drive
and
it must work with windows powershell 5.1

Just use BitLocker. You're using Win 10 Pro so it's already there.

Veracrypt should do. If you encrypt the system partition, it's supposed to be transparent to any programs, and I assume this are true also for powershell.

Use Bitlocker. You already have it. No additional apps needed.
