Yesterday in a TV Show they talked about enemy territory. It's a great
online game (3D FPS) and it's free!
It's a huge download though - 257.78 MB.

I'd love to get the game, and 257 M is usually no big deal on cable, but
that server is slower than molasses. Got any idea where else it could be
found, with a faster server?

Have a great day!

List of mirrors hosting win32 version of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
http://www.splashdamage.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewsdownload&sid=1
( If the link wraps use this short one: http://surl.co.uk/?852 )

A view things I would like to add:

ET is a online FPS and it's a game with a lot team play. Without a Medic and
a plan you will lose most matches.

Right now Enemy Territory takes second place on the GameSpy Live Stats. It's
a great game and it's free, so you will join a big community, if you play
this online.

GameSpy Live Stats
173,538 gamers are online right now

Game - Players
Half Life - 88,142
Enemy Territory - 10,237
Call of Duty - 9,305
Battlefield 1942 - 6,662
Americas Army - 5,857
Medal of Honor - 5,606

Have fun

Thanks. I found the main web site through a google search, though, and
it seems to be moderately faster. Not much, but then again, I've got 65%
now, and I'm not trying it again <g>.

Well, maybe my son will dig it then. I don't generally do online games,
myself.

Have a great day!

Well, I have a *little* site, but since losing my ASU job and *that*
site, I just haven't gotten around to putting all that stuff back on. I
archived it all, and I suppose I could put it back up, but I just hadn't
seen the urgency . . . After all, you and now Caiman are carrying all my
games, right <g>?

Have a great day!

That's true, too.

And I know I should get back to the grind, and make more games, but
since losing my major audience (Steven's gang), I haven't felt like
that, either . . .

Have a great day!

""No man is an island--" Much as we may feel and act as individuals, our
race is a single organism, always growing and branching -- which must be
pruned regularly to be healthy. Thus necessity need not be argued; anyone
with eyes can see than any organism which grows without limit always dies in
its own poisons. The only rational; question is whether pruning is done
before or after birth.
Being an incurable sentimentalist I favor the former of these methods --
killing makes me queasy, even when it's a case of "He's dead and I'm alive
and that's the way I wanted it to be."
But this may be a matter of taste. Some shamans think that it is better to
be killed in a war, or to die in childbirth, or to starve in misery, than
never to have lived at all. They may be right. But I don't have to live it--
and I don't." - Lazarus Long
