I don't know why people love this game. It's so poorly designed with an
asstastic interface, and not much payoff.

Pass.

Did you like the first one? And how does this one compare to it?

It's a game designed to reach out to a known fan base. It isn't the best
choice, but it works well enough in this case.

Of course, the plot looks a little disjointed - Freedom Force I starts off
in a post WWII era with the lead character who worked on a nuclear bomb.
FFII implies that we've just entered WWII. (Although this is based only on
the title of the second - it might suprisingly fit well in the storyline.)

No, and it's exactly the same.

It's an alternate timeline in which the Nazis won -- Our Heroes have to
change the past to fix it.

You hated a game and then you bought the sequel?

That's all I needed to know - I'm going to like this one because I
really liked the first one.

In FFII you travel back in time and get to meet the non-super powered
heros of World War II
